A Collection of Video Ads

Over the years, I’ve created numerous versions and iterations of video and motion design ads.

Collaborating with copywriters and marketing managers, I’ve explored alternative edits—adjusting length, sequence, and adding supers, sound design, motion graphics, and subtitles. I’ve also designed motion graphic videos from the ground up.

Here’s a selection of those videos in various formats, typically including 1x1, 2x3, 4x5, 9x16, 16x9, and more.

Background

An exciting part of my role at reMarkable has been iterating on both static and video ads to test what performs best and understand why. Sometimes, this involves small tweaks, like changing the opening shot, while other times, it means completely reshaping the pacing through editing, graphics, and music.

Motion and Typography

Here are two examples of motion and typography-heavy videos—the first created for reMarkable’s launch of mobile and desktop note-taking, and the second for testing more type-based ads.

A Fresh Funnel

These represent my typical editing style at reMarkable: selecting from available video materials, adding different voiceovers or simple super animations and subtitles, and crafting new content to ensure a continuous flow of fresh ads in the marketing funnel.

3D

The next two videos follow a similar approach but are more product-focused.

For the first, I was Assistant Designer on asset production, collaborating with the renowned Copenhagen-based studio Kuhl & Han. I helped brief and follow up on production, ensuring quality, overseeing post-production, and ultimately repurposing the final assets to explore new ways of enhancing performance.

Results

I’ve created a variety of video marketing assets for reMarkable, playing a key role in maintaining a steady flow of engaging ads that continuously drive sales.
