Background

For the better part of four years, I was the entire marketing department at Cloud Insurance—an innovative insurtech startup that grew from 6 to 30 employees and expanded from Norway to markets around the world during my time there.

This collection highlights just some of the many projects I created during those years.

Organic Social Media

Cloud Insurance operates with a long sales and marketing funnel, where it can take years for potential clients to make initial contact. That’s why content marketing plays a key role in their commercial strategy.

I contributed to the strategy and planning while also taking the lead in creating engaging, informative content tailored to carefully selected customer profiles. Below are some examples, including an explainer video fully produced by me - the majority of the assets in the video are stock, but I've done the rigging and animation.

My work has been instrumental in driving growth in both followers and leads.

Ads

Cloud Insurance is a complex product, but the advertising I’ve created for them is simple, focused, and playful. This approach makes it disarming and approachable in an industry that’s often overly serious.

This strategy has led to significantly higher conversion rates (CR) and, more importantly, lower cost per result (CPR).

Website and Blog

The website and blog needed a complete overhaul. The main goal here was to make them clearer and more visually appealing. I played a central role in this project, from driving it forward and conducting research to understanding customer insights and designing the materials.

We placed particular emphasis on our features page, which now boasts a significantly improved bounce rate and average time on page.

Results

As mentioned, this is just a snippet of all the things I did at Cloud Insurance.

In my four years there, I more than tripled their follower base and established a content marketing engine that included organic social media, digital advertising, email campaigns, blogs, and more. This system consistently delivered high-quality leads and played a key role in driving growth.
